The Roederer Group in Bordeaux region
Louis Roederer is one of the last great Maisons of Champagne that are still independant. Founded in 1776, champagnes had pride of place in the 19th century on the tables of the court of Russia with, as a crowning achievement, the creation of the famous Cristal cuvée at the Tsar Alexander II's request. The concept of the ‘Cuvée Prestige’ was born.

Château Soutard. Successful investments for full success...
At the present time the group AG2R La Mondiale owns in Saint-Emilion close to 63 hectares, of which 55 of vines. At the origin was the Château Larmande, classed growth on ancient sands, and an adjacent tenant farming, the Château Grand Faurie la Rose, under the management of Claire Thomas-Chenard, descended from an oenologist and chemist engineer, who arrived in 1998.

Beaucastel, a historic domain
The Beaucastel">Beaucastel">Beaucastel">Beaucastel family, who were then protestants, had settled in Courthézon by the middle of the sixteenth century. In 1687, Pierre de Beaucastel">Beaucastel">Beaucastel">Beaucastel was appointed “Capitaine de la Ville de Courthézon” by the French king Louis XIV, in recognition of his conversion to catholicism following the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes. Two centuries later, during the phylloxera crisis, the owner of Beaucastel">Beaucastel">Beaucastel">Beaucastel was Elie Dussaud, who was also one of Ferdinand de Lessep’s team during the building of the Suez canal. At that time the vineyard ceased production.
